The University of Plymouth has submitted an application to Plymouth City Council to vary its premises licence under the Licensing Act 2003. This application, filed by Harry Davis on behalf of the university, aims to accommodate recent changes in the campus infrastructure.

The proposed variation includes the addition of a new green space created from the existing Brunel Building and the inclusion of new building blocks such as Hepworth House and the Wellbeing Centre. Despite these changes, licensing activities will continue at the Students’ Union and Main Hall.

Those who wish to make representations regarding this application must do so in writing or electronically to the Public Protection Service Manager at Plymouth City Council by 20 May 2026. Electronic submissions should include a postal address.

A copy of the application is available for viewing at the council’s licensing register or at their office during normal business hours. It is important to note that making false statements in connection with this application is a criminal offence, punishable by a fine up to £5,000.
