Genting Casinos UK Limited has submitted an application to vary its premises licence for Genting Casino Plymouth, located at 2 Union Street, Plymouth, Devon, PL1 2SR. The application, made under section 187 of the Gambling Act 2005, seeks approval for revised premises licence plans that reflect proposed changes to the designated areas licensed for gambling and non-gambling facilities across the first and second floors of the premises.

The new plans specify designated Table Gaming Areas and Other Gambling Areas, allowing the casino to operate as an extended Converted Casino Premises. Additionally, the application aims to remove the default condition on operating hours, enabling the casino to provide gambling services 24 hours a day.

The application has been submitted to the Licensing Office at Plymouth City Council. Interested parties who may be affected by these changes are encouraged to submit their representations in writing by 2 November 2025. This includes individuals living close to the premises or those with business interests potentially impacted by the authorised activities.

For further details or to view the full application, individuals can contact the Licensing Office at Environmental Health & Licensing, Plymouth City Council, Ballard House, West Hoe Road, Plymouth.

Those who have any concerns or believe they may be adversely impacted are encouraged to make their views known before the deadline. It is important to note that providing false or misleading information in connection with this application is an offence under section 342 of the Gambling Act 2005.
