The City of Plymouth has issued a new Traffic Regulation Order, effective from 8 April 2026, which introduces amendments to parking restrictions and speed limits across various roads. This order, known as the City of Plymouth (Traffic Regulation Orders) (Amendment Order No. 2025.2137352 - Living Streets 8) Order 2026, has been made under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The amendments include changes to parking restrictions on roads such as the Access Road to Plympton Health Centre, Beacon Down Avenue, Bearsdown Road, Boulter Close, Caernarvon Gardens, Coombe Lane, Efford Road, Eggbuckland Road, Flamsteed Crescent, Hendwell Close, Hessary Drive, Hooe Hill, Linketty Lane, Long Ley, Randwick Park Road, Slatelands Close, Tamerton Foliot Road, Valley Road, and Valey View Close.

Additionally, the order modifies speed limits on Jennycliffe Lane, Stamford Lane, and Staddon Lane. These changes are part of an ongoing effort to enhance road safety and manage traffic flow effectively within the city.

Residents or interested parties who wish to question the validity of this order or any of its provisions have six weeks from the date of issuance to apply to the High Court. Full details of the order can be accessed on Plymouth City Council's website or by contacting their office directly for a hard copy.
