Plymouth City Council has issued a public notice regarding temporary restrictions on through traffic, parking, waiting, loading, unloading, and pedestrian access in several areas of the city. These measures are being implemented to facilitate phased gas main works.
The affected roads include Kingston Drive, Kingston Close, Minerva Close, Feversham Close, Litchfield Close, Caledonia Close, Dengie Close, Brookfield Close, Nash Close, Beckford Close, and County Close. Specific sections of these roads will experience parking suspensions or complete closures.
Additionally, footpath closures will occur from 23 Kingston Close to Kingston Road and from Lichfield Close to Almond Drive. Another footpath closure will extend from Nash Road to Glen Road.
These restrictions will commence on 7 September 2026 and are expected to last until 26 February 2027. The closures will be in effect 24 hours a day throughout this period.
