Plymouth City Council announces Pasley Street road closure

Plymouth City Council has announced a temporary prohibition of driving on Pasley Street, effective from Tuesday, November 25, 2025. This closure is part of a phased lead repair project expected to last until Friday, December 19, 2025. The affected section stretches from Ford Hill to Ryder Road.

The order, made under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, will be enforced through appropriate traffic signage displayed during the closure period. The council has indicated that the order could remain in force for up to 18 months if necessary.

Residents and commuters are advised to plan alternative routes during this period to avoid disruptions. South West Water is overseeing the repair works and can be contacted for further information at 0344 346 2020.
