Plymouth City Council has announced a temporary prohibition of driving, parking, waiting, loading, and unloading on several roads in Plymouth. This order affects Notte Street, Devonport Hill from Cumberland Road to Kings Road, and Victoria Road from Lynher Street to Verna Road.
The restrictions are part of a phased resurfacing project set to begin on Monday March 9 2026 and expected to conclude by Friday April 10 2026. The order will remain in force for up to 18 months, although the works are anticipated to be completed within the specified timeframe.
Traffic signs will be displayed at each location to indicate the specific days and hours when the prohibitions are active. Advance warning boards will also be placed on site to inform residents and commuters of the exact dates and times closer to the commencement of works.
Those who have any concerns or believe they may be adversely impacted by these road closures are encouraged to contact South West Highways at 01752 278278 for further information.
