The City of Plymouth has announced an amendment to the traffic movement and speed limit regulations affecting Molesworth Road and the surrounding area. This change, formalised under Amendment Order No. 2024.2137333, is part of ongoing efforts to enhance road safety and manage traffic flow effectively.

Under the new order, vehicles over 7.5 tonnes are prohibited from making left turns on Molesworth Road, Devonport Road, and Ford Hill. Additionally, right turns on Milehouse Road are restricted to cycles only. These measures aim to improve safety and reduce congestion in these areas.

Residents or interested parties who wish to question the validity of these orders have six weeks from the date of issuance to apply to the High Court. Full details of the order, including relevant plans and statements of reasons, can be accessed on the Plymouth City Council's website or by contacting their office directly.

For further information or to request a hard copy of the order details, individuals can call Plymouth City Council at 01752 668000.
