Manadon ground investigations to cause road closures in Plymouth
Plymouth City Council announces temporary road closures for Manadon ground investigations.

Plymouth City Council has issued a notice regarding temporary road closures due to the Manadon Ground Investigations. The order, made under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, will affect several roads in Plymouth.

The roads impacted include:

  • Mandon Flyover - northbound for its entirety
  • St Peters Road - between Manadon Roundabout and Hardy Crescent
  • Outland Road slip road to Manadon Roundabout - for its entirety
  • Southwell Road - at the junction of Tavistock Road

These closures will be in effect when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed. The order is set to commence on 16 February 2026 and may remain in force for up to 18 months. However, it is anticipated that the phased works will occur between 16 February and 26 February 2026, from 7pm to 6am daily.
