In a series of public notices, Hertfordshire County Council has announced several temporary road and footpath closures across the county, set to commence in July 2025. Footpath Hertford 33 Closure

The council has issued an order to temporarily close Footpath Hertford 33, affecting pedestrians heading east towards its junction with Hertford 99. This closure, necessary for utility works, will be effective from Thursday July 17 2025 for up to eight days. An alternative pedestrian route is available via a path to the south. Andrews Lane, Goffs Oak Closure

A proposed order will restrict vehicular access on Andrews Lane, Goffs Oak from its junction with Jubilee Close southeastwards for approximately 80 metres. This closure is due to water service repair works and will be in effect from Monday July 28 2025 for up to 18 months, though only active when indicated by signage. Alternative routes include Rags Lane and St James Road. Hertingfordbury Road, Hertford Closure

Walton Road, Ware Closure

Bowling Road, Ware Closure

Mandeville Road, Hertford Closure

Traffic Management in Cheshunt

Temporary traffic management measures will affect various roads in Cheshunt starting Monday July 28 2025 for up to six months due to proposed works.
