Hertfordshire County Council has issued multiple traffic notices affecting various roads across the county, with closures and restrictions set to commence from mid-March 2025. These measures are being implemented under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to facilitate essential works.

Footpath Sacombe 004 Closure

The footpath Sacombe 004 will be temporarily closed from March 17 2025 for up to two weeks to allow utilities works. Pedestrians will need to use alternative routes via Sacombe 3 and 6. Queries can be directed to Andrew Burton at Hertfordshire County Council on 01992 556178.

Mount Pleasant, Hertford Heath Closure

From March 27 2025, Mount Pleasant in Hertford Heath will be closed to vehicular traffic for up to 18 months, except for access. This closure is necessary for proposed works on or near the road. For more information, contact Carl Leggett at Ringway on 0300 123 4047.

Welwyn Garden City and Surrounding Areas

Several roads in Welwyn Garden City, Cole Green, Hertford, and Holwell will face temporary closures and waiting restrictions starting April 1 2025. Bentley Road, Hertford Closure

Buntingford A10 Restrictions

Cheshunt Roundcroft Closure

Stapleford Stony Hills Closure

Stony Hills in Stapleford will close from April 2 2025 for telegraph pole replacement. An alternative route is provided via local roads. Contact Kyle Basson at Road Traffic Management Ltd on 01634 966884 or Andrew Crosby at Hertfordshire County Council on 0300 123 4047.

Barwick Gore Lane Closure

Gore Lane in Barwick will close from March 31 2025 for telegraph pole replacement. Alternative routes are available via local roads. Contact Kyle Basson at Road Traffic Management Ltd on the same number as above.

Braughing C32 Road Closure

The C32 road in Braughing will close from March 18 2025 for electrical connection works. Queries can be directed to Liam Kiddle at TBF Traffic on 01449 490865 or Andrew Crosby at Hertfordshire County Council.

Goffs Oak Newgatestreet Road Closure

Newgatestreet Road in Goffs Oak will close from March 17 2025 for electrical works. Contact Craig Ellis at TBF Traffic or James Long at Hertfordshire County Council for more details.

Letty Green Chapel Lane Closure

Chapel Lane in Letty Green will close from March 17 for electrical repairs. Contact Lynne Riches at TBF Traffic or Andrew Crosby at Hertfordshire County Council.

Tewin Archers Green Lane Closure
