Hertfordshire County Council has issued multiple temporary road closure notices under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, affecting various locations across the county. These closures are necessary to facilitate essential utility and maintenance works.

Footpath Hertford 33 Closure

The footpath known as Hertford 33 will be closed from July 17 2025 for up to eight days. The closure affects a 100-metre stretch heading east towards its junction with Hertford 99. Halleys Ridge Footpath Closure

A section of the footpath between No.95 and No.96 Halleys Ridge, Hertford, will be closed from July 16 2025 for up to six months. An alternative route is available via nearby footpaths. Woodland Road, Hertford Heath Closure

Woodland Road in Hertford Heath will be closed from July 15 2025 for up to 18 months. The closure spans approximately 35 metres from the eastern boundary of No.9 Woodland Road. An alternative route is provided via Church Hill and B1197 London Road. B1004 Ware Road, Wareside Closure

The B1004 Ware Road in Wareside will be closed from July 17 2025 for up to 18 months due to utility and tree cutting works. The closure covers a distance of approximately 301 metres. Alternative routes are available via B1004 and other local roads. Much Hadham Road Closures

Waltham Cross Road Closures

Bramfield Road, Datchworth/Bulls Green Closure

Priory Street, Ware Closure

Priory Street in Ware will be closed from July 14 2025 for up to 18 months due to utility service works. An alternative route is provided via Priory Street and surrounding roads.
