Devon County Council has announced a temporary prohibition of parking on Heavitree Road in Exeter. This restriction is set to commence on 15 January 2026 and is expected to last until 7 February 2026. The prohibition will be in effect daily from 7am to 7pm.
The restriction is being implemented under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 14, as part of the County of Devon (Temporary Restriction) (Heavitree Road, Exeter) (No. 2) Order 2026. The measure is deemed necessary to facilitate the construction of a carriageway and kerbed island.
Residents and commuters are advised that no vehicles will be allowed to park or wait on the affected sections of Heavitree Road during the specified times.
