Devon County Council has issued several temporary traffic regulation orders affecting various roads in Exeter starting from January 2026. These measures are necessary to facilitate essential utility works and improve infrastructure.

The affected roads include Albion Street, Cleaveland Street, and Clinton Street, where a temporary prohibition of through traffic and parking will be enforced. The order will commence on 5 January 2026 and is expected to last until 25 January 2026. During this period, access will be restricted to residents only, with suspensions of the one-way systems on Cleaveland Street and Clinton Street.

Additionally, Dean Street and Temple Road will experience a temporary prohibition of parking from 8 December 2025 to 9 January 2026. This restriction is crucial for gas mains replacement works conducted by Wales & West Utilities. There are no alternative routes available during this period.

Maple Road will also see a temporary prohibition of parking and through traffic starting from 2 January 2026 until 13 February 2026. This measure is necessary for further gas mains replacement activities.
