Grendon Road, Exeter: From Tuesday April 29 2025, Grendon Road will be closed to through traffic and parking for up to 18 months, with an anticipated completion date of Tuesday May 6 2025. This closure is required to disconnect the water supply. The alternative route will be via Polsloe Road, Gladstone Road, Heavitree Road, and back to Grendon Road. Bovemoors Lane, Exeter: Starting Monday April 28 2025, Bovemoors Lane will be closed for resurfacing and reconstruction works until Wednesday May 7 2025. St Marychurch Road & Ridgeway Lane, Coffinswell: From Monday May 26 2025, these roads will be closed to install a new ducted power cable connecting a solar park to the existing electricity network. Albert Street, Exeter: Albert Street will be closed from Monday April 28 2025 until Friday May 23 2025 for slab replacement with tarmac. There is no alternative route available. For inquiries, contact Milestone Infrastructure at 0203 3077970.
Alphinbrook Road and surrounding areas in Exeter: A phased closure will begin on Monday May 12 2025 for the replacement of old metallic gas mains with new plastic mains. The work is expected to conclude by Friday June 20 2025. Diversion routes will vary by phase but generally include Alphinbrook Road, Trusham Road, Grace Road Central, and Hennock Road North.
