Exeter City Council has released a series of planning applications that impact the setting of listed buildings and the character or appearance of conservation areas. These applications are available for public viewing on the council's website, where representations of objection, comment, or support can be submitted within 24 days of the notice.

Development affecting listed buildings and conservation areas

  • Acacia House, Friars Green, St Davids: A retrospective application for a single-storey extension, revising previous approval (12/0327/FUL). Application number: 26/0403/FUL.
  • Tickle And Reynolds, 83 Heavitree Road, Newtown & St Leonards: Proposal to change the use, refurbish, and extend the existing property into nine flats. Application number: 26/0105/FUL.
  • 30 West Avenue, Duryard & St James: Demolition of existing rear extensions and construction of a part single, part two-storey rear extension with associated alterations including rear decking. Application number: 26/0355/FUL.
  • 32 Thornton Hill, Duryard & St James: Plans to reconfigure and extend the main house and convert rear detached outbuildings into an art studio. Application number: 26/0304/FUL.
  • 56A Fore Street, Topsham: Replacement of the rear staircase (fire escape), construction of a side-facing rear dormer window with a roof-level balcony, removal of two second-floor rear-facing windows replaced by a single bay window, and installation of two larger replacement rear rooflight windows. Application number: 26/0043/FUL.

  • Acacia House, Friars Green, St Davids: Retention of works undertaken to a single-storey extension and other works including internal openings. Application number: 26/0404/LBC.
  • Flat 1, 4 Richmond Road, St Davids: Retention of a fitted kitchen. Application number: 26/0421/LBC.
  • 7 Lower Shapter Street, Topsham: Proposed garage with overflow accommodation. Application number: 26/0413/LBC.
  • 8 Fore Street, Topsham: Replacement of existing roof covering with new natural slate tiles. Application number: 26/0331/LBC.
  • 56A Fore Street, Topsham: Similar works as mentioned above under development affecting conservation areas. Application number: 26/0040/LBC.
