David Farrow has submitted an application to East Devon District Council for a limited premises licence at Escot Park, Ottery St Mary, Devon. This application pertains to the Beautiful Days Music Festival scheduled from 19 to 24 August 2026. The proposed licence would allow the sale of alcohol and provision of entertainment during the festival.
The application outlines specific timings for alcohol sales: from 12pm to 1am on Wednesday 19 August (staff only) and Thursday 20 August; from 10am to 2am on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 August; and from 10am to midnight on Sunday 23 August. Additionally, alcohol sales are proposed from 11am to 4am daily for staff and artists in the Backstage Bar.
The Bimble Inn is also included in the application with proposed hours from 12pm to 1am on Thursday, and extended hours until 3am on Friday and Saturday. Late-night refreshments are planned from 11pm to 5am on select days.
Regulated entertainment is proposed to include live music, recorded music, dancing, plays, and similar performances. These activities are scheduled from 11am to 2am on Friday and Saturday, and until midnight on Sunday. The Theatre Tent will host events from 9am to 10pm over the weekend.
Additional features include a Silent Disco in The Little Big Top from 2am to 4am on Friday and Saturday, and film exhibitions from noon to midnight over the weekend.
