Recent planning applications have been submitted for developments in the Encombe Street area of Plymouth. These applications are part of the ongoing urban development under the Town & Country Planning Act 1990 and related regulations.
One significant proposal involves the Saltram Meadow Development at the former Plymstock Quarry Site on Encombe Street, off Billacombe Road (A379). This application seeks reserved matters approval for access, appearance, landscaping, layout, and scale following an outline consent. The project includes the construction of a new three-storey, 66-bed care home for older people (Use Class C2), with associated access, parking, and landscaping.
Another application concerns 30 Penlee Way, where plans have been submitted for the demolition of an existing garage to make way for a new single-storey rear/side extension. The proposal also includes a rear raised patio, access ramps, demolition of a chimney stack, enlargement of dormer windows and front entrance, addition of a front canopy, and internal reconfigurations. This application has been re-advertised for 14 days due to an amended red line plan.
Additionally, there is a variation of condition application at Post Box 136M, Rnad Bullpoint. This involves amending the orientation of the roof access stair as per permission 25/00799/FUL.
All these applications can be viewed online at Plymouth City Council's planning portal. Internet access is available at all Plymouth Libraries for those wishing to view the details. Representations regarding these applications must be submitted within 21 days from the date of this notice.
