Plymouth City Council has announced a temporary prohibition of parking, waiting, loading, and unloading on Emma Place Ope. This measure is set to take effect from Monday February 2 2026 and will remain in place for up to 18 months. The restriction applies to the section between Emma Place and Caroline Place.

The order is being implemented under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. It is intended to facilitate building remedial works expected to commence on the same date and continue until April 2 2027. The restrictions will be enforced whenever the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.

Residents and motorists are advised to plan accordingly and seek alternative routes or parking arrangements during this period. For further details or inquiries regarding the works, Lancer Scott can be contacted at 01179439800.

This notice was published by Plymouth City Council's Director for Growth and appeared in The Herald dated January 5 2026.
