From Monday February 17 2025, Okehampton Street in Exeter will be closed to through traffic. This closure is necessary for gas mains replacement works and is expected to last until Friday March 7 2025. The alternative route for vehicles will be clearly signed and includes Alphington Street, Road Over Exe Bridge North, Edmund Street, Road Over Exe Bridge South, Cowick Street, Buddle Lane, and Okehampton Road. Gandy Street closure for new connection installation

Starting Tuesday February 18 2025, Gandy Street in Exeter will be closed to both through traffic and parking. This restriction is required to provide a new connection and is anticipated to conclude by Monday February 24 2025. The signed diversion route will guide vehicles via High Street, Queen Street, Little Queen Street, and back to Gandy Street. Pedestrian restrictions on Okehampton Street

Additionally, from February 17 to March 7 2025, pedestrian access on Okehampton Street will be restricted. This measure is also part of the gas mains replacement project.
