School Road, Exeter
A temporary prohibition of through traffic will be in place on School Road, Exeter, from 23 March 2026 to 9 April 2026. This closure is necessary to facilitate lead pipe replacement works. For further details, contact South West Water at 0844 346 2020.
A379: Exeter Hill to Dawlish
From 16 March 2026 to 28 March 2026, the A379 will be closed between the hours of 7pm and 7am for patching, cleaning, and lining works. An alternative route will be available via A381, A380, and A38. For more information, contact Milestone Infrastructure at 020 3307 8051.
Athelstan Road, Exeter
Athelstan Road will be closed from 18 March 2026 to 2 April 2026 for a lead replacement scheme aimed at resolving water quality issues. Kier on behalf of South West Water can be contacted at 0344 346 2020 for additional information.
Cambridge Street, Exeter
Cambridge Street will experience a temporary prohibition of through traffic and parking from 23 February 2026 to 15 March 2026 due to lead pipe replacement. Contact South West Water at the same number as above for more details.
Lane to Channons Farm, Westwood
This area will be closed from 23 February 2026 to 13 March 2026 for drainage works. Milestone Infrastructure can provide further information at 01664 820233.
Frog Street, Exeter
Frog Street will be closed from 24 February 2026 to 3 March 2026 between the hours of 7pm and 6am for resurfacing and high friction surface works. Taylor Woodrow can be contacted at 0781 4891793 for more details.
Cornwall Street, Exeter
Cornwall Street will be closed from 23 February to 13 March for lead replacement works. South West Water is handling inquiries at the previously mentioned contact number.
Heavitree Road, Exeter
Several orders affect Heavitree Road with various prohibitions on through traffic and parking between late February and early March due to construction activities including carriageway and kerbed island construction. Birchy Barton Hill, Exeter
Parking restrictions are in place from mid-February until late April as old gas mains are replaced with new plastic mains. Wales & West Utilities can be reached at their freephone number: 0800 9122999.

Oakfield Road will see closures from mid-March to early April for lead replacements addressing water quality issues. Contact South West Water as needed.
West Grove Road, Exeter
