Plymouth City Council has announced a temporary prohibition of driving, parking, waiting, loading, and unloading on Chestnut Avenue. This measure is to facilitate essential pole renewal works. The restrictions will be effective from 19 February 2026 and are expected to last until 20 February 2026. The affected hours are between 9:30am and 3:30pm each day.
The order, made under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, will apply to the entirety of Chestnut Avenue. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to inform drivers of the restrictions during this period.
