Broxbourne Borough Council is currently reviewing several significant planning applications under the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. These proposals include a variety of developments across the region.
One of the major developments involves raising land levels and creating a new access track at Gresham Livery, White Stubbs Lane, Broxbourne (Ref: 07/26/0247/F). This project is classified as a major development.
Another significant proposal is the conversion and extension of the upper parts of a site at 99 High Street, Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire. This development aims to create 38 single occupancy rooms with communal living, dining, and workspace areas. It also includes landscaped roof terraces, 19 car parking spaces, and the installation of 56 solar panels (Ref: 07/26/0254/F).
In Wormley, Hertfordshire, a loft conversion project is proposed at New River Reach, Pembroke Close. This includes adding a rear dormer and two front rooflights, removing a chimney, extending the front porch, converting a garage with demolition of an existing flank wall, widening side access, altering an existing flat roof, and changing existing fenestration (Ref: 07/26/0263/HF). This site is located within a conservation area.
Additionally, listed building consent is sought for replacing three timber sash windows with UPVC on the ground floor's north-west elevation at The Haywards, Flat 7 The Lawns Drive, Broxbourne (Ref: 07/26/0265/LB). This application is retrospective.
