Broxbourne disabled persons’ parking places order
The Borough of Broxbourne has announced a proposal to establish new Disabled Persons’ Parking Places across various locations. This initiative is part of the Borough's ongoing efforts to improve accessibility for residents with disabilities. The proposed locations include:
- 4 Ditchfield Road, Hoddesdon: Outside No. 4
- 37 Ditchfield Road, Hoddesdon: In parking bay, outside No. 37
- 11 Hobsons Close, Hoddesdon: In parking bay, adjacent to No. 19
- 10 Winterscroft Road, Hoddesdon: Outside No. 10
- 5 Roman Street, Hoddesdon: Outside No. 5
- 44 Rowan Drive, Turnford: Adjacent to No. 50
- 168 Macers Lane, Turnford: Outside No.168
- 5 Dewhurst Road, Cheshunt: Outside No. 5
- 38 Dewhurst Road, Cheshunt: Outside No. 38
- 29 Barrow Lane, Cheshunt: (In Service Road), adjacent to No. 27
- 31 Barrow Lane, Cheshunt: In Parking area, adjacent to Nos. 29 and 31
- 5 Cromwell Avenue, Cheshunt: Outside No. 5
- 6 Prescott Road, Cheshunt: Outside No. 6
- 22 Prospect Road, Cheshunt: Outside No. 22
- 1 Raglan Avenue, Waltham Cross: Outside No. 1
- 63 Sandringham Way, Waltham Cross: Outside No. 63 (in parking bay)
- 3 Eleanor Road, Waltham Cross: Outside Nos. 3 & 5
Additionally, certain existing Disabled Persons’ Parking Places will be removed due to lack of use at locations such as Dewhurst Road in Cheshunt and Hawthorn Road in Hoddesdon.
Residents are encouraged to review the detailed documents available on the council’s website and submit any objections or representations by writing or emailing TROs@broxbourne.gov.uk by September 10.
Hertfordshire multiple road closure notices
Hertfordshire County Council has issued several temporary road closure orders affecting various roads due to essential works:
- Grove Road, Ware - Closed from September 4 for seven days.
- C15 (unnamed road), Stocking Pelham - Closed from September 4 for five days.
- Whitehill, Dane End - Closed from September 8 for one day.
- B1000 Hertford Road, Tewin - Closed from September 7 for five days.
- Uplands and footpath in Braughing - Traffic management measures from September 7 for five days.
- Various roads in Braughing, Ware and Hoddesdon - Closed from September 11 for seven days.
- B1004 Ware Road, Wareside - Closed from September 7 for five days.
- 3U40 (unnamed road), Wellpond Green - Closed from September 7 for five days.
- King Edwards Road, Ware - Closed from September 8 for three days.
- Various roads in Hoddesdon - Closed from September 7 for five weeks.
- Various roads in Luffenhall, Ardeley, Cottered and Cromer - Traffic management measures from August 24 for eight days.
- Kettle Green Lane, Much Hadham - Closed from August 27 for one day.
- Chapel Lane, Letty Green - Closed from August 25 for three days.
- Great Amwell Public Footpath No.018 - Closed from August 24 for seven days.
These closures are necessary for utility service works and other essential maintenance tasks aimed at improving local infrastructure.
