Plymouth City Council has announced a temporary restriction of through traffic on Wordsworth Road and Wordsworth Crescent. This measure is being implemented under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 14, to facilitate phased tabletop ramp works.
The affected sections include Wordsworth Road between the junctions of Wyatt Avenue and Wordsworth Crescent, and Wordsworth Crescent between the junctions of Wyatt Avenue and Wordsworth Road. The restriction will be in place from 20 July 2026 and is expected to last until 25 September 2026, operating 24 hours a day.
This temporary measure is deemed necessary to ensure the safe and efficient completion of the construction work. Residents and commuters are advised to plan alternative routes during this period to avoid potential delays.
