Reading FC boss Jaap Stam (pictured above) opted with both Yann Kermorgant and Jon Dadi Bodvarsson for Friday night's fourth-round FA Cup game at Sheffield Wednesday.

It is the first time the striking pair have started a game for Royals this season.

The move means Royals are likely to play with a 4-4-2 formation.

Roy Beerens, Leandro Bacuna and Anssi Jaakkola are also back in a side which shows seven changes from the team that lost 1-0 to Brentford in the Championship last weekend.

Youngster Sam Smith is handed a place on the subs' bench after a spell out with a knee injury.
