Clokken Limited has submitted an application for a new premises licence for KFC located at Unit 10, Rydon Lane Retail Park, Russell Way, Exeter, EX2 7QZ. The application is made under the Licensing Act 2003 and aims to extend the restaurant's operating hours.

The proposed opening hours are from 9 30am to midnight from Sunday to Tuesday, 9 30am to 1am the following morning on Wednesday and Thursday, and 9 30am to 2am the following morning on Friday and Saturday. After midnight on any day of the week, the premises will operate solely as a drive-thru or delivery collection service with no customer access into the restaurant.

For late night refreshments, KFC plans to serve from 11pm to midnight every day for customers dining in or collecting. The drive-thru and delivery collection services will be available from 11pm to midnight Sunday through Tuesday, until 1am on Wednesday and Thursday mornings, and until 2am on Friday and Saturday mornings.

Those who have any concerns or believe they may be adversely impacted by this application are encouraged to make representations. These must be submitted in writing to Exeter City Council's Licensing Authority by Saturday August 26 2026.
