Southside Street premises licence application for Barbican Fish Bar
Barbican Fish Bar in Plymouth seeks a new premises licence for alcohol sales.

Barbican Fish Bar, located at 36 Southside Street, Plymouth, PL1 2LE, has submitted an application to Plymouth City Council for the grant of a premises licence under the Licensing Act 2003. The application was made by We Barbican Plymouth Limited on 1 June 2026.

The proposed licensable activity includes the sale of alcohol both on and off the premises from Monday to Sunday between 11am and 10pm. This application is currently under consideration by the Licensing Authority.

Members of the public who wish to make representations regarding this application must do so in writing or electronically to the Public Protection Service Manager at the Licensing Office, Plymouth City Council, Ballard House, West Hoe Road, Plymouth, PL1 3BJ. Electronic representations can be sent to licensing@plymouth.gov.uk and should include a postal address. The deadline for submissions is 30 June 2026.

The full application can be viewed by appointment at the licensing office during office hours or online at the Council’s website.

It is important to note that making a false statement in connection with this application is an offence subject to an unlimited fine upon summary conviction.
