It may have been the lowest crowd of the season at Madejski Stadium on Tuesday night but those who did go were treated to a comfortable win for Reading FC.

A hat-trick by Jon Dadi Bodvarsson saw Royals book their spot in the FA Cup fourth round following a 3-0 win over Stevenage.

The official attendance was 4,986, with 608 of those being Stevenage fans, but the low turn-out did not deter the team from picking up their first win and scoring their first goals of 2018.

Full-back Chris Gunter set up all three goals in a game which saw Reading change to their away strip in the second half due to a kit clash.

The result was Reading's first win in nine games and they return to Championship action this weekend when they host Brentford on Saturday at Madejski Stadium (3pm kick-off).
