Plymouth City Council has announced a temporary restriction of through traffic on Roberts Road, effective from Monday June 15 2026. This measure is part of the ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 and is necessary to facilitate essential regeneration works in the area.

The affected section of Roberts Road extends from Mantle Gardens to Poole Park Road. The restriction will be in place 24 hours a day until Friday September 18 2026, although the order allows for a maximum duration of up to 18 months if required.

Residents and commuters are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and seek alternative routes during this period. The works are aimed at improving infrastructure and supporting local development efforts.
