Plymouth City Council has announced a series of temporary traffic restrictions to facilitate phased surface dressing and associated works on several roads across the city. These measures are set to commence on Monday August 17 2026 and are expected to conclude by Friday October 30 2026.
The affected roads include:
- Macadam Road – from Shapters Way to PCC Depot Entrance
- Barbican Approach – from Shapters Road to Commercial Road
- Bellingham Crescent – from Glen Road to Pode Drive
- Sandy Road – from Glen Road to Ridgeway
- Newnham Road – for its entirety
- West Park Hill – from Newnham Road to B3417
- Plymbridge Road – from Cranfield to Plymbridge Car Park
