Plymouth City Council has announced a temporary restriction on parking, waiting, loading, and unloading on Prospect Place. This measure is part of the City of Plymouth (Temporary Restriction of Parking, Waiting, Loading & Unloading) (Prospect Place) Order 2026. The affected area extends from Chichester House carpark to Plymouth Marine Laboratory.

The restriction will be in effect from 7 September 2026 to 25 September 2026, between the hours of 8am and 6pm. This temporary measure is deemed necessary to facilitate telecoms works in the area.

Residents and commuters are advised to plan accordingly and seek alternative routes or parking arrangements during this period. Those who have any concerns or believe they may be adversely impacted are encouraged to contact Ground Up Solutions LTD at 0161 850 4851 for further information.

The order was issued under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14 and is intended to ensure the safety and efficiency of the telecoms work being conducted. The Director for Growth at Plymouth City Council has authorised this order, which was dated on 24 August 2026.
