Plymouth City Council has announced a series of temporary parking, waiting, loading, and unloading restrictions across various roads in the city. These measures are set to facilitate phased resurfacing and associated works scheduled between 1 June 2026 and 30 September 2026. The affected roads include:

• Elliot Road (inbound from Cotehele Avenue to Embankment Road)
• Octagon Street (entirety)
• Laira Bridge Road (inbound between Heles Terrace to Elliot Road)
• Plymbridge Road (from Blue Haze Close to Fine Tubes Car Park)
• Embankment Road (outbound from Cattedown Roundabout to Langham Place)
• Miller Way (from Rothbury Gardens to Dover Road, including suspension of the no right-hand turn ban onto Dover Road)
• Mannamead Road (from Compton Avenue to Mutley Road & Eggbuckland Road to Higher Compton Road)
• Derriford Road (from Plymbridge Road to Hospital Road)
• Thorn Park (suspension of the one-way system from number 15 to Mannamead Road)
• Marjon Hill (suspension of the bus lane for its entirety)
• Clovelly Road (from Shapters Road to Teats Hill Road)
• Ham Drive (from Honicknowle Lane to Langstone Road)
• Commercial Road (from Teats Hill Road to Commercial Ope)
• Langstone Road (suspension of the no right-hand turn onto Ham Drive)
• Gashouse Lane (suspension of the one-way system for its entirety)
• Crownhill Road (eastbound from Budshead Road to Coombe Park Lane)
• Cattewater Road (entirety)
• Tothill Road (from Beaumont Road to Cattedown Roundabout)
• Greenbank Road (from Mutley Plain to Aldi Entrance & Clifton Place to Hospital Road)
• St Judes Road (suspension of the one-way system for its entirety)
• Wembury Road (from Blackstone Close to Reservoir Road & one-way section from Springfield Road to number 54, including suspension of the one-way system for its entirety)
• Staddiscombe Road (from Goosewell Road to Bovisand Road)
• Reservoir Road (from Wembury Road to Springfield Road)
• Bovisand Road (from Hooe Lane to Staddiscombe Road)
• Springfield Road (from Springfield Close to Wembury Road)
• Goosewell Road (suspension of one way at the junction of Staddiscombe Rod).

Advance warning boards will be displayed at each location closer to the time, providing specific dates and times for these restrictions. These temporary measures are deemed necessary by Plymouth City Council's Director for Growth to ensure the smooth execution of resurfacing works.
