Plymouth City Council has announced a series of planning applications that involve changes to listed buildings and conservation areas across the city. These applications are being considered under the Town & Country Planning Act 1990 and related legislation.

Among the notable proposals is the application for the Goschen Centre on Saltash Road. This involves variations to conditions of a previous planning permission, including the addition of a new standalone laboratory and changes to loading, unloading, and drainage arrangements.

Another significant application concerns Derriford Hospital, where retrospective amendments are proposed to previously approved plans. These include changes to car park layouts, additional vehicular access points, and modifications to pedestrian pathways.

In Looe Street, repairs are planned for chimney stacks at properties numbered 10 to 15. Meanwhile, at 111 Ridgeway, fireproof sheeting is proposed between the ground and first floors.

Further applications include replacing windows and balcony doors at 52 Castle Street and adding a low-profile rear skylight at 53 Emma Place.

The Terrace on Madeira Road seeks approval for a new refuse and recycling storage enclosure for an existing café.

Residents can view all applications online at Plymouth City Council's planning portal or access them via local libraries. The council invites representations from the public within 21 days of this notice's publication.
