Plymouth City Council has announced a series of planning applications concerning listed buildings and conservation areas under the Town & Country Planning Act 1990. These applications include significant alterations and developments across various sites in Plymouth.

The Corinthian on Madeira Road is set for a major transformation with plans to demolish the existing tower and extend the building to include a rooftop bar and seating area. The proposal also includes external alterations such as decked seating areas, external terraced areas, staircases, an outside kitchen, bin store, platform lift, pergolas, and associated internal changes.

At 9 - 10 Nelson Gardens, there is a condition discharge application concerning external materials related to a previous listed building consent.

Alterations are proposed at 50 New George Street involving changes to the shopfront and the installation of a roller shutter door.

The Guildhall on Royal Parade is slated for several modifications including the installation of a ramp and steps, window alterations, roof replacements, extraction ventilation, and other associated works.

Plans for 42 New George Street include replacing the shopfront, installing an ATM and AC plant with associated ductwork, roof alterations, edge protection installation, and various related works.

Finally, at 53 Emma Place, there is an application for replacing the rear access bridge and door.

These applications can be viewed online at Plymouth City Council's planning portal. Internet access is available at all Plymouth Libraries for those wishing to view the details. Representations regarding these applications must be submitted within 21 days from the date of this notice.
