Plymouth City Council has announced a temporary restriction on parking, waiting, loading, and unloading on Peverell Park Road. This measure is being implemented under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14 to facilitate essential gas main works.

The affected section of Peverell Park Road lies between the junctions of Thornbury Park Avenue and Edgcumbe Park Road. The restriction will be in place from Monday July 20 2026 and is expected to last until Friday August 7 2026. During this period, the restrictions will be enforced 24 hours a day.

These measures are deemed necessary to ensure the safety and efficiency of the gas main works being carried out by Wales & West Utilities. Residents and commuters are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and seek alternative routes or parking arrangements where possible.
