Christopher Dodd, the Designated Premises Supervisor and licensee of Monroe's located at 61 Fore Street, Hertford SG14 1AL, has submitted an application to East Herts District Council for an alcohol premises licence. This application aims to allow the cocktail and wine bar to operate with extended hours.

The proposed operating hours are Monday and Tuesday from 12pm to 11pm, Wednesday from 12pm to midnight, Thursday from 12pm to 1:30am, Friday and Saturday from 12pm to 4am, and Sunday from 12pm to midnight. Additionally, special hours have been requested for St Patrick's Day until 1am, Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve until 3:30am, and Bank Holiday Sundays until 3am.
