A man has been charged with outraging public decency for masturbating on a train to Reading, Berkshire.
Transport police were called to reports that Alex Taylor, 27, of Forest Road, Walthamstow, East London, was masturbating on the train.
He was arrested by police at Reading Station on Wednesday, December 20.
Taylor is due to appear at Reading Magistrates' Court on Thursday, January 4.
He has been charged with one count of outraging public decency following the incident.
British Transport Police Berkshire announced the arrest on its Twitter feed:
This morning a male was arrested at #Reading for the offence of Exposure after reports of a male masterbating on board a train.

Officers met the train and the male is in Police custody as enquiries are on going...
A spokesman for British Transport Police said: "A 27-year-old man has been charged with one count of outraging public decency, following an incident on board a train at Reading.
"Alex Taylor was arrested at Reading Station on Wednesday morning, after officers received reports that a man was touching himself appropriately."
Taylor remains in police custody.
