Plymouth City Council has issued a temporary traffic regulation order affecting Macadam Road. This order, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14, will restrict through traffic on Macadam Road between Shapters Way and Oakfield Terrace Road. The restriction is set to commence on 29 June 2026 and will last for a maximum of five days, concluding by 17 July 2026. The road will be closed to all vehicles 24 hours a day during this period.

The temporary closure is necessary to facilitate chipping landing operations for EST. Residents and commuters are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and seek alternative routes during the closure period.
