People who have difficulties with vision, mobility, hearing or general daily living can learn about new technology that will help them stay as independent as possible.

The Living Made Easy event will help people discover equipment and new technologies that could support daily living.

It aims to improve the health and quality of life for those who have to use assisted living products.

There is a free gift for the first 30 members of the public who attend.

The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead, together with Optalis, will be putting on the event on Wednesday, May 2 from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. It is happening at the Desborough Suite in St Ives Road, Maidenhead, Berkshire.

If residents require assistance to travel to and from the event contact People To Places on the Community Transport Booking Line on 01628 587920, Monday to Friday between 9.30am and midday
