Plymouth City Council has announced a temporary restriction of through traffic on Ladywell Place to facilitate essential water meter works. This measure, enacted under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14, will be in effect from 25 June 2026 and is scheduled to last until 29 June 2026. The restriction will be enforced 24 hours a day during this period.
The affected area is specifically outside Ladywell House. The closure is deemed necessary to ensure the safe and efficient completion of the water meter installation by Kier, working on behalf of South West Water (SWW).
Residents and commuters are advised to plan alternative routes during this time to avoid disruptions. For further details or inquiries, Kier can be contacted directly at 0344 346 2020.
