Plymouth City Council has announced a temporary restriction on through traffic on Ladywell Place to facilitate essential water meter works. The restriction will be in effect from 25 June 2026 to 29 June 2026, operating 24 hours a day. This measure is deemed necessary to ensure the safety and efficiency of the work being carried out by Kier on behalf of South West Water (SWW).
The affected area is located outside Ladywell House, and the order is made under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14. The maximum duration for this order is set at 18 months; however, the current works are scheduled to conclude within four days.
