Broxbourne Borough Council has confirmed a public path diversion order for Hoddesdon, set to take effect on 6 July 2026. This decision follows the confirmation of the Broxbourne Borough Council (Hoddesdon 09) Diversion Order 2024 on 10 April 2024. The order will alter the route of a public footpath starting at TL 3662 0914 and extending westwards for approximately 320 metres to align with Hoddesdon Restricted Byway 7 (Bramble Lane) at TL 3630 0916.

The new path will run west for about 165 metres to TL 3645 0912, then northwards for approximately 55 metres to TL 3644 0917, before continuing west for another 145 metres to reconnect with Hoddesdon Restricted Byway 7 at TL3630 0917. This change is detailed in the order plan available for public viewing at Broxbourne Borough Council's offices in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire.

Residents or interested parties who wish to view the confirmed order and its plan can do so free of charge at Broxbourne Borough Council, Bishops' College, Churchgate, Cheshunt, Hertfordshire EN8 9XQ from Monday to Friday between 10am and 4pm.

If any individual is aggrieved by this order and wishes to challenge its validity or any provision within it on legal grounds, they may apply to the High Court under Section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. Such applications must be made within six weeks from the date of this notice's first publication as stipulated by paragraph 7 of Schedule 14 to the Act.
