Broxbourne Borough Council has confirmed the Hoddesdon 09 Diversion Order 2024, which will come into effect on 6 July 2026. This order, under the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, involves diverting a public footpath near EN11 9HF. The path will now run westwards for approximately 320 metres before reconnecting with Hoddesdon Restricted Byway 7 (Bramble Lane).

The confirmed order and accompanying plan can be viewed at Broxbourne Borough Council's offices in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, during regular business hours. Those aggrieved by the order have six weeks from the notice's publication date to challenge its validity in the High Court under Section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.

For further details, interested parties are encouraged to visit Broxbourne Borough Council's offices or consult the Hertfordshire Mercury publication dated 25 June 2026.
