Christopher Dodd, the Designated Premises Supervisor and licensee of Monroe's located at 61 Fore Street, Hertford, has submitted an application to East Herts District Council for an alcohol premises licence. The proposed cocktail and wine bar aims to operate with varying hours throughout the week.

The requested operating hours are as follows: - Monday and Tuesday: 12pm to 11pm - Wednesday: 12pm to midnight - Thursday: 12pm to 1:30am - Friday and Saturday: 12pm to 4am - Sunday: 12pm to midnight

Additionally, extended hours are sought for special occasions: - St Patrick's Day: 12pm to 1am - Christmas Eve: 12pm to 3:30am - New Year's Eve: 12pm to 3:30am - Bank Holiday Sundays: 12pm to 3am
