St Edmund’s College & Prep School, located on Farm Lane in Ware, has submitted an application to East Hertfordshire District Council for a new premises licence under the Licensing Act 2003. The application outlines plans to allow the sale of alcohol and various performances at the college.
The proposed licensable activities include the sale of alcohol for consumption both on and off the premises during pre-arranged functions. The hours for these activities are set from 12 noon until 11pm from Monday to Saturday, and from 12 noon until 10:30pm on Sundays. Additionally, the college seeks permission to host performances of plays, films, live music, recorded music, and dance within the same time frames.
Members of the public who wish to make representations regarding this application must submit their comments in writing to East Herts District Council Offices at Wallfields, Pegs Lane, Hertford, SG13 8EQ or via email at Community.protection@eastherts.gov.uk. All representations must be received by 29 July 2026.
