Devon County Council has issued a notice under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 14, for temporary restrictions on High Street, Topsham, and Preston Street, Exeter. These measures are necessary to enable mains replacement works by Wales & West Utilities.

• High Street, Topsham: From 2 January 2025 for up to 18 months, with an anticipated completion by 31 January 2025. The affected area stretches from the junction with Denver Road to Station Road. An alternative route will be signposted.
• Preston Street, Exeter: From 9 December 2024 for up to 18 months, expected to finish by 7 February 2025. Diversions will be in place via King Street to Market Street and Frog Street to King Street.
