Exeter planning inquiry for Waddeton Park development
Public inquiry for Waddeton Park's 65 dwelling proposal in Exeter starts 17 August.

A public inquiry concerning the proposed development by Waddeton Park Limited in Exeter is scheduled to commence on Thursday, August 17, 2026. The inquiry will address an appeal regarding outline planning permission for a phased development of up to 65 residential dwellings, with access points from Nadder Park Road. The proposal also includes public open space and infrastructure enhancements.

The inquiry will be held at multiple venues: - 17 August: Custom House, 46 The Quay, Exeter, EX2 4AN, starting at 1pm. - 18 August: Rennes Room, Civic Centre, Paris Street, Exeter, EX1 1JN, starting at 10am. - 19-21 August: Rennes Room, Civic Centre, Paris Street, Exeter, EX1 1JN, starting at 9.30am.

An Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State will oversee the proceedings to decide on the appeal. Members of the public are invited to attend and may express their views at the discretion of the Inspector.
