Exeter City Council has announced several planning applications that could impact the setting of listed buildings and conservation areas in Exeter. These applications are available for public viewing on the council's website, where representations of objection, comment, or support can be submitted within 24 days of this notice.

Key Applications

Garage West of the Coach House, Brewery Lane, Heavitree: This application involves the refurbishment and conversion of a two-storey Grade II listed building into a one-bedroom dwelling. The proposal includes forming a rear external porch way (Ref: 26/0471/FUL).
HMP Exeter, New North Road, Duryard & St James's: Proposed works include improvements to the perimeter wall, relocation of the control room, and enhancements to CCTV systems. These changes relate to the Gateway to Devon County Prison and other Grade II listed structures (Ref: 26/0936/FUL).
Queens House, Little Queen Street, St David's: Plans are in place to alter and convert existing vacant offices into student accommodation with cycle parking and associated works (Ref: 26/0605/FUL).
9 Elm Grove Road, St David's: The proposal includes reorganisation of internal walls and openings, refurbishment of the second floor, addition of a dormer window, and relocation of roof windows. Repairs to fire/party walls and chimney stacks are also included (Ref: 26/0994/FUL).
11 Lyndhurst Road, Newtown & St Leonard's: This application seeks to create a single-storey annexe by replacing the existing garage and courtyard walls (Ref: 26/0983/FUL).

Listed Building Applications

Additional applications involve various alterations to other listed buildings across Exeter. These include new openings in walls, installation of bi-fold doors at The Stables in Heavitree (Ref: 26/0996/LBC), re-rendering at 1 Bartholomew Terrace (Ref: 26/0527/LBC), and trial hole excavations at 9 Cathedral Close (Ref: 26/0960/LBC).
