A thrilling funfair, vintage vehicles and handsome hounds will all be part of the action at Thatcham Family Fun Day.

More than 4,000 visitors are expected at Henwick Worthy Sports Field on the A4 on Sunday, June 24.

The event will run from 11am to 4pm, with dozens of activities to entertain both children and adults.

As well as a dog show and the fairground rides the event will also see the Hi-5 Runners Fun Run, charity stalls and demonstrations from clubs and sports groups.

For 2018 the Thatcham Family Fun Day will incorporate The Great Get Together inspired by Jo Cox, the MP who was killed in June 2016.

The organisers are looking for stallholders for the event. Each standard pitch is 4m in width to accommodate a 3m gazebo plus space for guy ropes. Double and triple pitches can also be booked.

If anyone would like to take part in this important community event contact the Community and Civic Manager Jennie Currie either on 01635 863 592 or email jennie.currie@thatchamtowncouncil.gov.uk.
