Devon County Council has issued several temporary road traffic orders affecting various roads in Exeter. These measures are necessary to facilitate essential maintenance and improvements.

Redvers Road, Exeter From 25 May 2026, Redvers Road will be closed to through traffic and parking until 5 June 2026. This closure is required for lead pipe replacement. There is no alternative route available. For more information, contact South West Water at 0344 346 2020.

Road Past Clarendon Farm, Perkins Village This road will be closed from 25 May 2026 to 5 June 2026 to replace damaged verge protectors. An alternative route is available via B3184, Marwood Lane, and Marwood Road. For further details, contact South Coast Traffic Management at 01202 697127.

May Street, Exeter Starting from 15 June 2026 until 10 July 2026, May Street will be closed to through traffic and parking for lead replacements addressing water quality issues. The signed diversion route includes Elmside, Rosebery Road, Iddesleigh Road, and Old Tiverton Road. Contact South West Water at 0344 346 2020 for more information.

Queens Crescent, Exeter Parking restrictions will be in place from 15 June 2026 to 6 July 2026 outside numbers 5 & 6 and opposite numbers 9 to 11 on Queens Crescent. This is to facilitate the replacement of old metallic gas mains with new plastic mains. For additional information, contact Wales & West Utilities at 0800 9122999.

Jubilee Road, Exeter Jubilee Road will be closed to through traffic and parking from 15 June 2026 to 17 July 2026 for a lead replacement scheme. The diversion routes are clockwise via Park Road, Polsloe Road, Pinhoe Road and anti-clockwise via Pinhoe Road, St Johns Road, Park Road. Browning Close, Exeter Parking will be prohibited from 8 June 2026 to 26 June 2026 on Browning Close due to lead replacements aimed at resolving water quality issues. For more information, contact Kier on behalf of South West Water at the same number as above.
